My Homemade Lip Scrub

You will need...

  • A place to put your lip balm (Lip balm container. I got a few at Bed Bath and Beyond in the travel storage section.)
  • Brown sugar
  • Vaseline/Petroleum jelly
  • Vanilla Extract
  • A bowl
  • Something to stir with (I suggest a straw. That's what I used.)
How to make it
Place your bowl down on a counter. Put some vaseline/petroleum jelly in the bowl. You can put however much you want in depending on how much lip scrub you want. Sprinkle the brown sugar into the bowl. Pour a teeny tiny bit of vanilla extract into the bowl, too. (I made the mistake of pouring to much in the bowl and now my lip scrub has a to-strong vanilla scent.) Stir this with your straw until everything is mushed up. Then put it into a lip balm container, homemade or factory-made, and enjoy your soft, sweet smelling lips.

Note: I don't know what happens if you put it into the freezer. I guess it turns hard lip scrub instead of a liquidish one.
