21 Jump Street: Movie Review

Did anyone see the 2012 comedy/action movie, 21 Jump Street?
Well, this funny movie starring Jonah Hill as Schmidt, and Channing Tatum (oh my god he's so handsome!!!!) as Jenko are 2 police officers going undercover as high schoolers at a local high schoolers trying to catch drug dealers and along the way undercover some amazing and hilarious adventures!
I give this movie 5 stars. It's fantastic and of course, the best part, it has Channing Tatum! •Spoiler Alert• He throws up on Schmidt at one of the end scenes while running through the hallway!
Also, the sequel to this movie, 22 Jump Street is coming out on June 13th, 2014! So basically, it's coming this summer. And in this movie, they're going undercover again...but this time at college! Check out the trailer on YouTube here

Sorry I Haven't Been Posting...New Recipe: French Toast Roll-Ups!

I am super sorry I haven't been posting in almost 2 months! This happened before, too. I just haven't had a lot of time with school and stuff (we're reading a new book, Roll of Thunder, Here My Cry; it's actually pretty good), and when I did have time I had no idea what to type.
But thankfully, I have a fantastically fabulous new recipe that tastes REALLY good. My mom found it on Facebook and they're French Toast Roll-Ups! You'll see what I mean by reading below...

French Toast Roll-Ups

INGREDIENTS:

  • Bread
  • Jelly and Cream Cheese
  • Cinnamon and Sugar
DIRECTIONS:

Place the bread on a plate and cut all the crust of...don't peel it off, just cut it off with a knife so it turns out into a rectangular-ish shape. Then, spread the cream cheese thinly and jelly narrowly. Make it about an inch wide (about this size across the top if you turn the bread long side going down:              ). After that, roll it up and put it in the regular french toast mixture (2 eggs and a little bit of milk). Next, place it in the pan, which is set to medium and has butter spread on the bottom of it. Make sure that the roll-ups are put in the pan seam side down (seam side down is the side which you could open back up). Turn them around while they're in the pan so they cook evenly. After they're done and out of the pan, roll them around in a cinnamon and sugar mixture. Put them on a plate and eat up!

Discontinued Foods from the 90's

Anyone remember these? Discontinued foods from the 1990's/early 2000's. One of my favorites was Orbitz drink.

The Night Before Christmas

T'was the night before Christmas
when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugarplums danced in their heads.

And Mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the luster midday to objects below,
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer,
With a little old driver so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name:
"Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! On Donder and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!
Now, dash away, dash away, dash away all!

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the housetop the coursers they flew
With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas, too.

And then in a twinkling I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished from ashes and soot.
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.

His eyes, how they twinkled! His dimples, how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow.

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly
That shook when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk,

And laying a finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

A Common Prayer: Known By All #1

Here is a prayer that lots of people know. It is commonly used in church and in house cleansings...

Our father who art in heaven
Hallow be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.

iPhone Case Made Out of 3D Printer!

Have any of you heard of a 3D printer? I have because we are learning about them in Manufacturing. They sound really cool and you can make things out of them. If you have a 3D printer, you could be making iPhone cases like whoever made the one below and be selling them like hot-cakes.

Boots Essentials 'Lipsalve' Review

Boots Essentials Strawberry Flavored Lipsalve
This lisalve on the right is Boots Essentials Lipsalve. I have the original lipsalve, my cousin sent it to me from Oxford College in England. It is very nice, and doesn't irritate your lips. Like, if I have a cheap lipbalm/lipgloss, it'll make my lips red and chapped and definitely not pretty. This is very good and it makes your lips look and feel amazing. I'm not sure if you can get this in America, because so far I haven't seen it except for when my cousin mailed it to me. I also went to http://www.boots.com/ and I looked up 'lipsalve' in their american store, they didn't have it, so I looked in the U.K. store and they had it. But it looks really nice and they also have Boots Extracts, and they have things like lipBALM, body butter, scrubs, and all that jazz.

I Want an Instamatic!

Okay, so vintage is really in this year. Like, 80s, 90s, 50s, 60s, 70s, stuff like that. So...I found this really awesome pic of a Polaroid Instamatic camera. Check it out!
I also realized that this looks like the Instagram logo. Doesn't it? I think that's one of the reasons how Instagram got it's name.

9/11/01

12 years ago so many lives were lost.
2,993 to be exact.
2,993 people's families were devastated on this date. Well, it's good that some people survived.
American Airlines, Flight 11 plane first hit the North tower at 8:46:40 a.m. The North tower collapsed at 10:28 a.m.
United Airlines, Flight 175 hit the Southern tower at 9:03:11 a.m. The South tower collapsed at 9:59 a.m.
Planes also hit the Pentagon and another plane crashed in Shanksville.
All of the people who's lives were lost, bless your souls. And also to the family, of course.

The Vow: My New Favorite Movie

Tonight, I just saw the movie The Vow. It is the most amazing movie EVER and it is so amazing and if you haven't seen it yet, you HAVE to see it. Rachel McAdams and especially Channing Tatum are excellent in this lovey movie that is based on true events.
Summary: A girl (Rachel McAdams) and her husband (Channing Tatum) were in a car accident, the girl (her name in the movie is Paige) not wearing her seat-belt and smashing her head through the windshield of the car, having total loss of her memory except for a few moments in high school, and with her ex-boyfriend. Her husband (his name in the movie is Leo) is trying so hard to help her, and Paige is so lost mentally, and for a part of the movie physically. I'll leave it at that for now :) I don't want to spoil this amazing movie.
